Important Policies

• Please be aware that the pigment will change over the healing process. The intensity of the pigment will be significantly darker immediately after the procedure. This will reduce 30%-50%. This is why the touchup appointment is important- we will fill in any spots that do not have the best retention, discuss any concerns and make sure healing is going well. 

• typically 1-3 years before needing a color boost. Please understand that this is a form of permanent cosmetics and it is expected to last. However, there are no guarantees to how long your microblading will last because it varies for each individual dependent on skin type, skin care routine, sun exposure, etc. 

• Initial sessions can take between 2.5-4 hours depending on the service. Color boost/refresh or touch up appointments can take 1.5-3 hours. 

** If you are running late please notify me. Unfortunately, for clients running more than 15 minutes late I will have to cancel the appointment in order to avoid delaying other clients who are scheduled the same day & a cancellation fee if $50 will apply

• I use organic and inorganic pigments depending on the specific needs of an individual, their goals and skin type. 

• this can be relative to the individual. For each service I use topical numbing agents to keep you as comfortable as possible. 

• due to health code regulations, I ask that you arrange for childcare outside of the studio for the duration of the appointment. It becomes difficult for my client to lay still during the session if their child is in the studio requiring attention, and no one will be able to keep an eye on them. I would also ask that you come solo to your appointment due to space and distraction. If you would like to email me specifically about this due to any special accommodations, please do so. 

• yes! Makeup is fine. Please come as your are comfortable. Some clients prefer to wear their brow makeup how they would normally in order to show me what they’re comfortable with. I will remove any makeup when we get started in order to have a clean and sanitary surface. 

• If you have a blemish on your brows at the time of appointment, I would advise we reschedule or I can go around the area and fill in the gap at the follow up appointment. 
• If you have a mole on your eyebrow, I will not be able to go over the mole. I will blend the strokes naturally around the mole  simulating how your natural brow hairs would grow around and not over top of the mole. This could be dangerous and I do not want to cause any potential harm to you. 

• this is completely case by case. You will need to contact me with photos of your brows/let me know when you first had it done, and we will discuss if I’ll be able to go over them. 

• generally speaking, if you have visible pigment remaining on brows then I will recommend that you seek pico laser removal in order to remove old pigment. 

• you must be 18 years of age or older for me to perform microblading. I will not perform microblading on anyone under 18 {even with parental consent}

AVOID Day(s) Prior to Appointment: 

• Alcohol 24 hours prior 
• Fish oil/vitamin E for 1 week prior 
• Anti-aging/acne treatments/exfoliants/chemical peels 2 weeks prior 
• Sunburn/tanning 2 weeks prior
• pick/tweeze/wax/electrolysis 2 weeks prior
• color/tint 3 days before 
• Shaving eyebrows 2  weeks prior 

AVOID Day of Appointment: 

• Blood thinners (Aspirin, Advil, ibuprofen, etc.) 
• Coffee, caffeine, energy drinks, soda 
• Exercise, massage, sauna

• Healing takes roughly 2 weeks

• Day 1: wash in the direction the hair strokes are flowing an hour after your appointment & then again at bed time. Use the soap I have supplied. Pat brows dry with paper towel, don't rub them. Then apply the Bowler Healing Ointment I have supplied. Use a rice grain sized amount dispersed between them after each wash. 
• Day 2-14: wash brows morning & night and apply ointment after each wash or any time they feel very dry. 

• Healing takes roughly 2 weeks

• Day 1: dampen cotton round and wipe brows an hour after your appointment & then again before bed time. Air dry or gently blot brows dry with paper towel, don't rub them. Use a rice grain sized amount of Bowler Healing Ointment & disperse between them after each time you clean them with the cotton round.
• Day 2-14: wipe brows with damp cotton round morning and night. Apply rice grain sized Bowler Healing Ointment after each wash AND midday- oany time they feel dry. 

Please avoid the following:

• exercise/sweating/heat/sauna for 14 days
• overly hot showers for 14 days {lean head back to avoid water getting on brows}
• sleeping on your face for 14 days
• swimming/lakes/hot tubs for 14 days
• topical makeup/sunscreen for 14 days
• sun exposure/tanning for 4 weeks 
• facials, botox, chemical treatments, or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks 

• If you are pregnant you are not eligible for microblading until after pregnancy
• If you are currently breastfeeding, I recommend waiting at least 6 months for your hormones to regulate. Please keep your doctor informed. 

• I cannot make a guarantee because each individual's skin is different, each person will care for their brows differently, and as with most treatments things can be unpredictable. However, I want to provide the best service that I can and give you brows to feel confident and beautiful! 

• **3% Credit Card fee is assessed at checkout, if you would like to avoid this fee at time of service please bring check or cash.
