An initial session is required for all new clients. At this appointment, I will consult with you on your eyebrow goals, needs and skin type. You will be required to fill out an intake form prior to your appointment which will inform me of pertinent information regarding your brows and any contraindications. The intake form will also help me in choosing the best service for you. We will discuss together what you would like to achieve and you can absolutely tell me of your preferred service type.
Microblading is a form of permanent cosmetic enhancement done to your eyebrows in order to create a fuller brow with natural hair-like appearance. When done properly, it should match the natural look of your eyebrow hair. I complete this by hand with a manual tool consisting of 6-14 micro needles in the shape of a single blade. I create hair strokes to match the movement of your eyebrow hair, give volume and shape. This is typically recommended for normal to dry skin types.
Nano is similar to Microblading in that it offers realistic hair strokes, but it is performed with a PMU machine instead of a hand tool. The machine uses needle cartridges to create tiny pixels that layer over each other to create a single hair stroke. This method is typically appropriate for all skin types and causes less trauma to the skin. Generally, this method will take more time than the other options because it is extremely intricate.
Blade & Shade (also known as “combo brows”) is typically beneficial for those with little/less natural eyebrow hair. The combination of Microbladed strokes to simulate more hair, and the shading between hair strokes will give the appearance of fuller brows and give more dimension. I recommend this service to those with normal, dry or oily skin types.
A touch up following your initial session is highly recommended and typically needed to complete your eyebrows, but is not included in your first appointment. The touch up will ensure that your brows are complete and any fading that took place can be addressed, and corrected. Once you have gone past the 3 month mark from your initial appointment then you would be considered a color boost/refresh appointment cost.
A color boost/refresh is typically completed between 12-36 months after your initial appointment. The retention of the pigment can vary dependent on skin type and after care. Some clients require or prefer annual touch ups, as long as there is enough fading (about 70% fading) then this is acceptable. If you have questions, you can email me with a photo of your fading to make sure you’re ready for an annual touch up.
If you have had your brows tattooed, microbladed or machine work completed at any time prior (even if it was ten years ago) you MUST contact me prior to booking. As much as I would love to bring each of you in for coverups or refreshes over another artist's work the truth is it can only be done when the brows have faded 85-90%. This means they need to practically be completely gone before I can go over them. Please reach out to me as I will need to approve with consultation prior to service.
* Please be mindful that if you are to reschedule your appointment more than once, there is a rescheduling fee of $75 that will be applied. ** If you are running late please notify me. Unfortunately, for clients running more than 15 minutes late, there will be an additional $75 late fee applied and I will have to reschedule the appointment in order to avoid delaying other clients who are scheduled the same day.
** I require a non-refundable $50 deposit at the time of booking. Your remaining balance will not be charged until the day of your appointment. However, if you no-show or cancel less than 72 hours prior to the appointment, an additional fee of $200 will apply.
